As the days progress, effective communication seems to become more and more of a rare commodity. Is society to blame or should we as individuals be held more accountable for our actions? With the rise of technology it’s become easier to connect with each other, yet the outcome is arguably different.

Exploring the reasoning behind silence there are a variety of possibilities – the fear of embarrassment and disappointment, the lack of confidence, disinterest, or simply not having the ability to communicate due to language barriers.
Even so, utilizing the voice is not the only way to communicate. There are an abundance of tools that we can use that are within an arms reach.
A goal I have with this project is to allow my audience to consider my reality and values of communication. Communication is more than just an exchange of information. It can be further explained that understanding intentions, and having levels of sympathy for one another could benefit effectiveness.
