Logo Exploration

Before diving into this project I had to identify what exactly a pangolin was. They are nocturnal animals that are easily recognized by their full armor of scales. They are also what the pokémon, Sandshrew and Sandslash are based off of – and this is were I began my design.

After a bit of exploration I became fond of the longer head shape of the Sandslash and its exaggerated scales.

Following this inspiration and minimizing the design, I began to shape the logo until it came to its final stages.
